A deity. Not nearly close. Deity consisted of gods and goddesses. Konoha didn’t have such a thing. They had Kages, of course. Just which village did he come from that makes him think that? “Uh no, not really. It’s nowhere near like a deity. We have Kages, don’t you know that?” Everyone knew that, right?
True Cross Academy? To be an exorcist? What the hell.. Pink brows knitted tightly, confusion twisting features. “I’m sorry, but I’ve never heard of that place.. ever. Or of someone wanting to become an exorcist.” The word felt weird rolling off her tongue, sinking herslf deeper into a puzzled state-of-mind.
He blinked for a moment, a village yet no shrines or deities? That sounded impossible of course to the young male.
{ ☩ }— “What? That’s ridiculous, maybe your village is different because I’ve never heard of a Kage before.” A nervous laugh accompanied his uneasy look. Perhaps that’s why she had not reacted upon hearing the half demon’s name.
{ ☩ }—"You know, I dispose of demons and stuff. An exorcist, how far is your village anyway?“
"Rin! Watch out!" She jumped on him. [Hello there! x3]
{ ☩ }— “Huh, huuhhhh?!” Though he may have had warning that didn’t stop body from falling as soon as the smaller frame jumped on him. Getting up gingerly, the half demon appeared vaguely annoyed but that wouldn’t last long as if never did.
{ ☩ }— "What did you go and do that for?“ Not that he minded exactly, just confused.
“I don’t think pulling off pink hair really is a skill. It’s just something some people are born with, that’s all.” Eyes blinked blank, just now pondering the same question. Perhaps he was a traveler from another village.
“I’m from the Hidden Leaf Village. Where’s your hometown?”
{ ☩ }— “Ahahaha I guess you’re right there, if you couldn’t you would go around looking as funny as Bon, huh? Oh well I guess you don't know him, but oh! A village, like one with a deity and stuff?” Demonic tail flicked to the side, thinking for a moment.
{ ☩ }— "I guess you could say I just sorta live at True Cross Academy, it’s where I go to learn how to be a great exorcist.“
Admittedly, so had she. Not that she’d ever say it now. Her brow furrowed and she snapped, “I sound nothing like him!” The shout, unfortunately, did nothing to relieve the growing urge to throw a book at the poor half-demon.
Azure hues practically glowed from the outburst, snickering briefly.
{ ☩ }— "Not with that temper, but you’re so strict– sometimes it’s hard to tell you two apart.“ A terrible exaggeration but he was an idiot after all.
A cat? So was he saying she resembled a cat all because her hair color?
“Uhhh——- hehe, nice to meet you Rin. I’m sure your friend will find this just as amusing. Let’s hope he’s not jealous.” An awkward chortle emitted betwixt plush tiers, digits tangling in coral locks.
Just don’t hit him, Sakura.
{ ☩ }— “Shima- jealous? Maybe, but only because there is someone better than him at something without even trying. He would probably want that skill! Oh, but I don’t believe you look familiar. Where do ya’ come from anyway?”
She accepted this answer rather content with getting about show of the lovely flames that seem to not burn him. Moving back the child sat to the ground looking up to him politely waiting to see more, ” I like this magic.”
Repeating the trick a gentle smile seemed to slip onto features. So different from his usual grin that it was almost sad in a way.
{ ☩ }— "I’m happy that someone does.“ And so small blue flames flickered about in the very basic trick, to be honest he didn’t know much more than this at the moment.
Not quite. A brief look of disdain for the unwelcome nickname before she stated bluntly, “You and careful don’t exactly go together. Especially not in the same sentence.”
{ ☩ }— “You’re sounding too much like Yukio. I didn’t do anything bad, huh, huh- I wasn’t caught or anything. Lighten up, I thought it was cool.”
